Our hotel, Bacoli, is so much close to the city centre that you may reach all the stores ranging from super-markets, restaurants, bars to even retail shops, within a 5 minute walk. Moreover, the Venetian Castle of Parga is easily accessible from out hotel, within a 10 minute walk by taking the road down to the city centre and then walking up the stairs all the way to the top, where you may enjoy the panoramic views of the city, the harbour, the Panagia islet and the Ionion Pelagos. While on your way up, make sure that you pay a visit to the Paragea Olive Oil Museum and take an active role in the olive oil production process. When it comes to the beaches, our top 3 must visit are, Krioneri beach which is 5 minutes away on foot from our hotel marking the town beach, Valtos beach which is 5 minutes away with the taxi boat marking the biggest beach in the area, and lastly, Sarakiniko beach which is more of a remote and unorganised type of beach, characterised by its complete silence. Finally, as to the day trips we suggest, Paxos and Antipaxos with their crystal clear, blue waters should be in your must-visit list, along with Ioannina for a city break type of escape and the Acheron Springs, to try either rafting, horse-riding, canoe-kayak or even the downhill of the river.
